I designed this sweater for
my daughter, Isobel, who was two at the time.
Being a notorious starter
[currently, I have 43 unfinished projects --
hey, go count your own!], I designed it two
sizes larger than her size at the time.
I finished the sweater in
two weeks and two years later she’s still
wearing it, sometimes sleeping in it. The Noro
is self-striping -- fewer ends to weave!
I learned that I only like
finishing my own designs. Freak or egotist?
You decide. |
