L’Annuaire théâtral, born in 1985, publishes two issues every year. By its name, this publication follows in the footsteps of the journal created by Georges-H. Robert in 1908. From the beginning, this scientific journal dedicated itself to the historical study of theatre, but also to the other kinds of performing arts, such as dance, musical theatre, radio theatre, circus, performance, etc. More recently, L’Annuaire théâtral has followed a policy of collaboration with researchers on the international scene. The latest issues show an interest in opening up the world while revisiting the past.
