Newfoundland and Labrador Studies is a refereed, interdisciplinary academic journal devoted to the history and culture (broadly defined) of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is a publication of Memorial University's Faculty of Arts. Special editions are published from time to time on specific themes. Recent examples include "Confederation" (17:2) and "The New Early Modern Newfoundland" (17:2 and 19:1). Documents, reviews and review articles are included in most issues.
