Sociologie et sociétés is a learned thematic journal that reflects current thinking and research in the field of sociology in Quebec and elsewhere. Since its creation in 1969, the publication has described and analyzed the diverse social characteristics of life in Quebec and in other modern societies. Well-known within academia, the journal serves as a major meeting place for discussion among members of the interested intellectual community around the world.

Comité scientifique et équipe éditoriale

Sociologie et sociétés comprend un comité scientifique constitué de 15 membres de la communauté universitaire internationale. Sa composition est visible en cliquant sur ce lien : www.sociologieetsocietes.ca/comitee.html

Ce Comité scientifique se réunit une fois par an pour discuter et émettre des recommandations quant à l'orientation que devrait prendre la revue, qu'il s'agisse de la mise en place de prochains numéros thématiques, de gestion des budgets alloués ou encore de la critique constructive de numéros déjà parus.

La revue Sociologie et sociétés est dirigée par Valérie Amiraux, professeur titulaire au Département de sociologie de l'Université de Montréal et Nicolas Sallée, professeur agrégé au département de sociologie de l'Université de Montréal.
