Deployment of armed border officers at the Pacific Highway border crossing to be announced

Surrey, B.C., August 30, 2007 -- Tomorrow, Mark Warawa, Member of Parliament for Langley, on behalf of the Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister of Public Safety, will make an announcement regarding armed border services officers at the Pacific Highway border crossing in Surrey, B.C.

Senior officials from the Canada Border Services Agency will be available to answer technical questions following the announcement.
