Canada Border Services Agency's Policy on the Classification of Hate Propaganda, Sedition and Treason

  1. This memorandum has been revised to reflect both legislative and administrative amendments, including the addition of sexual orientation as an identifiable group and the provision of more detailed procedural information for importers.
  2. This revision replaces Memorandum D9-1-15, Revenue Canada's Interpretative Policy for the Administration of Tariff Item 9899.00.00 - Hate Propaganda, Treason and Sedition, dated February 3, 1998.
