Counterfeit Detection is the Bank of Canada's free innovative educational kit for high schools.

Designed for teachers by teachers, the kit is adapted to provincial curricula. Learning outcomes include essential skills: problem solving, civic responsibility and awareness, critical thinking, job readiness, and communication.

Teachers can discuss counterfeiting and its wider impact on society. Students also learn a skill to help land a job – how to spot counterfeit money.

Most printed items can be downloaded. You can also order items for delivery by mail.
