The Best Value Grid is a table with the printer/copier offering the Best Value for the default configuration for each commitment period in each category (based on standard volumes) highlighted in yellow.

For assistance in calculating Best Value for non-standard volumes or configurations, please call the Imaging Product Management Group at 604-775-7697
NMSO rates are based on a quantity of one. Better rates using economies of scale can be achieved using the Request for Volume Discount procedure detailed in Annex I of the Terms and Conditions. While there are several categories of high speed printer/copiers (80 ppm and above) available from this Standing Offer, this equipment begins to move into the range of commercial production machines. Identified Users should determine before ordering this level of equipment whether it would be more cost effective to send volume print jobs out to commercial printers. Identified Users still wishing to acquire models with speeds of 80 ppm or above are encouraged to consult with PWGSC before calling up the equipment and should have a Business Case on file, approved at the departmental level, with a detailed description of the printing and copying volumes being addressed and any other factors used in the decision to acquire the equipment.
For information on preparing a business case, see the "Make or Buy" guidelines on the Treasury Board web site.
