Enrolling is easy, [a man is seen using a laptop] simply go to directdeposit.gc.ca to get all the information you need. [The words directdeposit.gc.ca appear on a grey screen]. You can also enrol online [the words cra-arc.gc.ca appear at the top of a close-up image of a man’s hands typing on a laptop] at the Canada Revenue Agency’s My Account site or by phone at 1‑800‑959‑8281 [a women sitting in front of a computer who is also on the phone] for the following payments: Canada Child Tax Benefit, Universal Child Care Benefit, Income Tax Refund, GST/HST Credit. From time to time, Canadians will receive an enrolment form with their benefit cheques. [A woman is shown opening an envelope and looking at a form]. When filling out the form, provide all the details related to your personal information in Part A and check off all the payments you receive from the Government of Canada. For example, if you receive any tax related payments from the Canada Revenue Agency, such as an Income Tax Refund or GST/HST credit or benefits from Service Canada, such as Canada Pension Plan or Old Age Security Pension payments, check off the applicable boxes in Part B. In order to direct a payment to your bank account, you will need to provide your banking information or attach a voided cheque. [A person is shown completing their banking information on the form].

If you don’t have cheques, or the account you choose is not a chequing account, you can obtain this information by visiting your bank. [A woman is shown visiting a bank].
