Swap & Sale Membership Newsletter Resources About our Club:The Kingston Lapidary & Mineral Club was founded in 1962. It has provided a positive environment for local rockhounds and lapidary enthusiasts alike to develop their interests, to meet and share information and ideas, and to promote interest in the earth sciences. Our club is very active. In addition to our regular meetings, we hold bi-weekly lapidary instructions at our workshops, as well as shows and monthly field trips throughout the spring, summer and fall. Our club also runs a "Junior Club" for youth aged 8 to 13. Activities include monthly meetings, field trips, guest speakers, crafts, swaps, lapidary instruction and a whole lot more to interest a budding young Rockhound! Our club hosts an Annual Gem & Mineral Show in October each year, and it is always a big hit with local residents and rockhounds alike.
