Mystery writer L. C. Hayden has been publishing fiction, non-fiction, and poetry since 1975 in various magazines, periodicals, and newspapers. WHO'S SUSAN? was published in 1998 and received wonderful reviews. Her second mystery novel WHEN COLETTE DIED was published in 1999. Hayden holds a Master's Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Texas at El Paso. She is a member of Sisters in Crime, the Manuscript Club, Mystery Writers of America, and the Southwest Writers Club. Besides writing, Hayden enjoys drawing, reading, traveling, and scuba diving. She teaches English at Irvin High School in El Paso, Texas. Although she has taught just about every course in the English curriculum, her specialties include freshmen honor English, British literature (senior English), and creative writing. Hayden lives with her husband and two sons in El Paso, Texas, where she is at work on her next mystery/suspense novel WHERE SECRETS LIE.
