Cassie Black sells Porsches in Hollywood, but despite all the glamour of her present, she has a secret to hide.

Not so long ago she was a criminal and made a living robbing gamblers in casinos. She was the best there was and in one fell swoop, it was all lost. Now she has her glamour and her secret. When that is threatened, she has to return to her old life and find a mark to rob, but trouble looms large. Is it the Void Moon causing her trouble as her superstitious friend would have it, or is it that her arch-nemesis from her past – PI Jack Karch – has come back to haunt her?

This is a fast-paced book that shows modern Las Vegas with all its joys and vicissitudes - warts and all. Cassie is a sassy heroine who lives life on the edge and is good at it, but has her softer side as well. She is a woman doing her best in a man’s world, and beating the men at it most of the time. Plenty of action, secrets and suspense make this an exciting and well-paced read.
