MISSION
Recognizing that sociology has much to offer in helping to understanding life in the world today, it is the mission of the EJS to bring sociological knowledge to the public in an easily accessible format.
Therefore, EJS presents research papers on topical or critical issues of today that are both scholarly and accessible.
The EJS is thus offered free of charge to individuals, libraries, academic and commercial organizations. It is part of a new publishing paradigm whereby the scholars themselves retain control over all aspects of the scholarly communication process.
