Why register?

Protection - Many users have quit our forum because they had their emails and identities used by others to post messages.

In the spirit of indigenous traditions - Most indigenous societies respected free speech and spirited discussion without acrimony. In some cases a talking stick was passed around to people who wanted to speak. This forced the audience to hear and respect the words of the individual, all the while allowing diverse views to be voiced. Obviously, the very act of speaking also revealed the identity of the speaker to all assembled, instilling accountability in the individual speaker.

By registering in this forum, we hope users will be assured we respect your contributions and want to take non-intrusive measures to protect you.

Registering doesn't mean you can't use a pseudonym. However, we think those which identify the contributor carry more weight and authenticity because they're prepared to be accountable for what they say.
