Visual Arts, Society, and the Individual

It is expected the students will:

  • Demonstrate an awareness of the meanings and purposes of images within a variety of contexts
  • Identify possible purposes for the creation of given images
  • Give form and meaning to ideas and feelings

Social Studies

It is expected the students will:

  • Reveal the distinct characteristics of societies throughout history that are central to the development and expression of cultural identity
  • Development of individual potential, social responsibility, and cultural awareness

Information Technology

It is expected the students will:

  • Follow a sequence of steps to perform a task using information technology tools
  • Use appropriate terminology when using information technology tools
  • Demonstrate an awareness that information can be collected, organized, and presented in a variety of ways
  • Consistently apply suitable and safe use of information technology tools and equipment
