Ellisboro

Welcome To Ellisboro

The Best Kept Secret Of The Qu'Appelle Valley

When you take the Perley Road out of Wolseley and follow it into the valley, you will find a hidden community nestled within the hills.  This is the tiny historical community of Ellisboro.  Ellisboro is home to a large cemetery.  The land for the cemetery was given to the community by the Ellis family.  The first burial in the cemetery was George Ellis on November 18, 1888.

Also in the hidden valley of Ellisboro lies the story of Racette's Crossing, a Buggy Exhibit, the Timeline Monument, an Anglican and United Church, as well as the first ever Rural High School.  Click one of the above links to learn more about the hidden valley of Ellisboro.
