The Canada Goose

formation of honking geese each fall and spring, flying overhead in migration. They usually nest in urban parks, rural areas and in the wilderness. Their honking call can sometimes be an annoyance, but many would agree that the mess they leave behind in parks, and on beaches, is even more upsetting to step in! They can be spotted in marshes, ponds, lakes, rivers, and fields.
