Composer, Pianist, Teacher

Born in Kingston, Ontario, Katharine Burrowes ran a music school for piano in Detroit. She specialized in piano pedagogy for children and wrote on this topic. In 1904, Burrowes published several pieces for piano students. She was the author of Course of Study for Children.
