Dry Mixedwood ClimateThe climate of this Subregion is sub-humid and continental with short, cool summers and long, cold winters. The average temperature between May and September is about 13 degrees Celsius, with a growing period of approximately 90 days. Annual precipitation averages about 350 millimetres with June and July being the wettest months. Winters are relatively dry with about 60 millimetres of precipitation. Overall, the climate is somewhat drier and warmer than the Central Mixedwood Subregion with somewhat higher moisture deficits.
