The Northern Fescue Vegetation
The Foothills Fescue Grasslands are dominated by
Rough Fescue and Hooker's Oatgrass. Some common forbs include
Prairie Crocus, Prairie Sagewort, Mouse Ear Chickweed, Wild Blue Flax,
Fleabane, Northern Bedstraw, Harebell and Old Man's Whiskers.
