The Northern Fescue Wildlife
Generally, species that favour lightly to moderately grazed Northern Fescue grassland also favour lightly grazed Mixedgrass areas.
Some of these species would include Baird's Sparrow, Sprague's
Pipit, Upland Sandpiper and Sharp-tailed Grouse. With heavy grazing, species more typical of the Information provided by and printed with the permission of Alberta Community Development, Parks and Protected Areas. |
