My goodness! When I was a youngen, I never dreamed of television! Radio to us back then, was a miracle unto itself. Even when the first televisions came to Canada 25 years ago, they were enormous, except of course for their screens, which were only a few inches. And now we've got colour television, and it's not even that expensive! The TV sets we have nowadays, not only do they have a much larger screen, but they come in a wide array of shapes and colours to match their surroundings. We truly are living in an age of technological marvels. There are several memorable broadcasts from this decade that I vividly remember. As for CBC Radio, the CBC Stereo Network began November 1975. The first program was Harry Somer's "Louis Riel," followed by Peter Gzowski.
