The 1980s: More improvements

Technology moves much faster than anyone can imagine! Just a few decades
ago, I remember seeing my friend's giant 20 inch television screen, and
now, that pales in comparison to the monsterous 50" screens. The television
industry is spending as much time researching miniturization in addition
to spending time trying to create larger and larger screens, which has
given us the hand-held television. Unexpectedly, the quality on the hand-held
is just as high if not higher than that of the giant projection TVs. What will
they think of next? Let me sum up the decade for you.
