The CBC and its role in the typical Canadian family has changed ever since it was created in 1936. From their humble start in radio and through their transition into television, my family, as with thousands of others, have been there every step of the way. Radios and televisions have changed a great deal since their introductions. Radios, for instance, have gotten much smaller in size, yet the quality of sound they give has increased tenfold. Televisions as well have gone through major changes, including the increase in screen size and decrease in overall component size. The transition from black and white television to colour television was also a major change that I have lived through. Who knows what the future will bring for television and radio technology, but be sure that the CBC will be there. Our favorite CBC shows of the 1990's. Let me sum up the decade for you.
