Project: CIGEMON is a collection of 4 Cultural Interactive Games produced by young northern people:

Hunting Game
Fire Fighting Game
Slide Tile Game

Dog Sled Game
Dene Hand Game

This project is about communicating northern aboriginal culture through new technology - to link the past to the present as well as getting young people involved in their culture.

The original games were developed using Macromedia Director 8, a movie/game program. All graphics & ideas are original & created from graphic programs.
This web site is the venue to allow these games to be available online to people across Canada, especially small isolated northern communities.

This project objective was to transform the original games for online use through a shockwave format using Director 8. The key was to reduce game size for easy & quick downloading.
