Grass and Fibre basket includes sweet grass, pine needle, corn husk or other plant fibres that have a "bundle foundation".
All coil baskets are made by starting from the centre at the bottom of the basket.
The coil then spirals outward and is flexible. One coil is then placed on top of the previous and fastened to various coils with stitching material. The bundle foundation provides a flexible support for the baskets and allows for individual coils to be easily stitched together.
The diameter of the foundation is determined by the materials used, and the desired end size of the basket.
Can range in size from 1/4" - 24".

Stitching attaches two coils using knots to create spaces between coils.
