Made from materials to form the shape of a First Nation person.
General doll shapes are similar but features and colours can differ.
Hair is generally made with fine yarn.
The dolls may reflect the producer or the one for whom it is intended.
Some dolls are made to show features and poses of both men and woman dancers.
Most dolls are similar except in the way they are dressed.
The attire of the generally reflects the heritage of the producer.
Cut beads and feathers may be found on the dolls.
Varying size ranges.

Doll sizes can range from 6"-24" and larger dolls are generally more expensive.
The type of materials used is also reflected in the price (i.e.dolls made with scraps will be less than dolls made by hides).
Hand made dolls are considerably more expensive than their plastic counterparts.
Prices range from $80-250.
