Could be made out of the following products:
wood, bark, grasses, leaves, pine needles or roots.
Skin was made from cloth and stuffed with spruce moss.
Traditional dolls were very crude and had no features.
The crude nature of the dolls makes them reasonable in price but generally not marketable as a toy.  However, they are a items sought by collectors.

Price is generally more expensive in accordance with size.
Products used to make the dolls affect the costs. For example,  the cost to purchase materials or the labour involved in gathering the materials are all factors.
