Informal Parlour

The Informal Parlour is much lighter and friendlier than the Formal Parlour. This room was used to entertain close friends and family. The furniture is Mid-Victorian design of the 1850's. Although the fireplace in this room and the others within the home have the appearance of marble or stone, it is simply wood painted to create the marbleized or stone effect.
