MIDWAY SHOW FOR HUMBOLDT EXHIBITION DAYS
A meeting of the directors of the Humboldt Agricultural Society was held on Monday last, in the secretary's office, when matters pertaining to the fair were discussed. The dates have been definitely set for July 24 and 25. Arrangements were also made to sign a contract for the appearance of the Great West Amusement Co., midway Shows, which comprises, an Animal Show, Illusion Show, Freak Show, Crazy House, Dog and Pony Circus Ferris Wheel, and a merry-go-round, which will be good news for the kids. Two bands have been practically engaged, so there will be plenty of music during the two days. There will also be a baseball tournament and horse races.

The prize lists are now in the hands of the printers, and the Secretary asks that anyone wishing a copy may have one by applying to any officer or director of the Society After they have been issued.

The Standing Crops Competition will be held as usual, entries for which close on July 15th. There will be two classes for wheat and oats, four prizes in each—$25.00, $20.00, $15.00, $10.00 and $5.00.
