According to the statement of G. J. Bury, General Superintendent of the C. P. R., the proposed line from Lanigan to Prince Albert via Humboldt is to be constructed this coming summer and that grading operations will commence just as soon as spring opens. This was started as the line was surveyed |
last fall, and runs directly through Humboldt, so that this town is also directly interested in its construction. With the completion of this branch, Humboldt will have direct communication with the east, west, north and south.
