Cariboo Gold RushThis lesson focuses on the technologies used in the Cariboo Gold Rush of the 1860s and those used during the "Second Cariboo Gold Rush" in Wells in the 1930s.

It explores how two communities were shaped by technological change and in turn altered their natural and social environments. The lesson also promotes an understanding of the role of natural resources in the development of British Columbia.
