Salmon Ceremony
Description: Mable James (left) and Emma Perrault (centre) - holding her
grandaughter, Desire Perrault - are performing in the Salmon Dance. Mable and Emma, both
members of the Sewid family, are twin sisters who are representing the salmon body in the
Salmon Dance. They are both members of the Mamaleleqala band, which is part of the
Kwakwaka'wakw Nation.
