Get a group of friends together and explore a creek, stream, or river in your neighbourhood.
Record your observations. Work with your local fisheries officer to clean up the creek at a time
that is good for the fish.
Follow the watershed in your community and make sure that all
passages are accessible to fish (so they can travel through them). Record your observations and
contact your local fisheries officer with your information.
Post warning signs around waterways to remind people to keep the water clean. Be sure you
receive permission before posting signs on private property.
Stencil signs around storm drains to warn people that waste running down the drain destroys fish
habitat.
