Calf Weaner

Helmet used by ranchers to stop older aggressive calves from stealing milk from their mothers. The wire assembly fit over the nose of the calf. When it tried to nurse from its mother she was poked by the sharp nails causing her to move away.Very few calves actually required this treatment as most were weaned (the process of moving a calf from a milk diet to a solid diet) quite naturally by their mothers.
