of the people involved and their role in the Northwest Rebellion/Resistance. The
students will gain an understanding of what the situation First Nation and Metis people
experienced during this era. 4. ACTIVITIES/IDEAS: Students will research on the internet and read
through the biography of Gabriel Dumont. Discuss the worksheet with the students
and see if there are any questions. Have the students answer the questions.
