My name is Tara Van Segbrook and I am a member of the Nelson House First
Nation located in Northern Manitoba. I relocated to Regina in September 1996 to
complete my Bachelor of Education degree and recently graduated in May 1999. I have
decided to continue my education and get my Native Studies degree before settling into my
own classroom. Besides attending classes, I am working fulltime and substitute
whenever I am available. My hobbies include reading, biking and swimming. I plan to
become a foster parent in fall as I do not have any children of my own. |
