3.  PURPOSE/TEACHER BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

    The purpose of this lesson is to inform students of plants that can be used for medicinal uses.

Searching the Net For Information
Divide students' into small groups and have them visit the address given below to find information about plants that are used for medicinal purposes. There are 18 plants listed in this website.  Have students' read through each of the descriptions.  Then students' are to choose three plants to research using the internet.
