Students' will begin to examine various images of how Emily Carr was portrayed. Using
their imagination, the students' will attempt to describe "what the world was
like in which she lived in." The students' will examine how the images reflect
the personal, social, cultural, and historical contexts created during her time. 4. ACTIVITIES/IDEAS: Inform the students' that they will be doing a study on Emily Carr. Distribute to the students' information on her writing and painting stages. Have the students' research the website below and complete the following question
sheet. Discuss with the students' their findings after the question sheet has been completed. After completing the study on Emily Carr, discuss with students'
