Déclaration de l'artiste :
Ma maison et mon atelier se trouvent à St. Michael's, un petit village terre-neuvien qui surplombe l'Atlantique, au sud de Saint John's. Je vis ici dans un environnement qui se caractérise par le changement perpétuel - une météo instable, quatre saisons radicalement différentes et le rythme des migrations interminables des icebergs, des baleines, des oiseaux de mer et des animaux marins. À l'extérieur de mon atelier, tout est harmonie et conflit à la fois. Chaque élément crée et détruit l'autre continuellement : le vent, l'eau et la terre. Mes peintures et mes gravures reproduisent ce monde rude, fragile et fluide dans toute son âpreté et sa beauté poignante. J'essaie, à travers mon œuvre de rendre d'une façon très personnelle mes observations, mes réactions et mes sentiments face à certaines choses intemporelles.
