This region is host to the Digby Scallop Fleet, which provides the
world with this, interesting and tasty little marine
creature. The region is covered with an extensive network
of inland waterways with areas such as the Tobeatic
Wildlife Management Area becoming favorite haunts of
canoeists and hikers.
With the development of new trails systems such as the Acacia Valley
Trail people are given even greater opportunity to explore this interesting
and diverse landscape.
