Foreword
This framework is a step
toward better coordination and enhanced accountability for the Official
Languages Program of the Government of Canada. Its approach is in line with the Government of Canada’s intention to
report results to Canadians.
The Official Languages
Branch of Intergovernmental Affairs, Privy Council Office, has developed the
concept for this framework. The framework has the support of community
representatives, federal government partners and other stakeholders.
This project owes its
success to the enthusiastic support of collaborators from several departments
and agencies, as well as representatives from numerous community organizations
who gave generously of their time, energy and insight.
