- Through the Speech from the Throne, the government has established its priorities for the new session of Parliament.
- For the purpose of this Framework, our priorities are:
- Innovation;
- Environment;
- Children;
- Health care; and
- Aboriginals.
- These priorities all involve several departments and the challenge is to ensure a government-wide approach to communicating on each of them -- based on how Canadians want to receive information, as opposed to how each individual department views its contribution to the initiative.
