Calgary, Alberta, May 14, 2013—The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is pleased to announce that the Chief Mountain port of entry is re-opening for the season, beginning Wednesday, May 15, 2013.
Chief Mountain is located along Highway 6 in Alberta. Last season, approximately 98,187 travellers entered Canada at Chief Mountain and Waterton Lakes National Park, and CBSA officers are preparing for another busy summer.
Hours of operation (Mountain Daylight Time):
May 15 – May 31: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
June 1 – September 2: 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
September 3 – September 30: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
