Corporate planning and reporting

To find out more about the National Research Council's (NRC) accomplishments, performance, plans and priorities, browse our Departmental Performance Report (DPR) as well as our corporate and financial reports.

NRC also carries out evaluations of its programs and initiatives, led by a team of well-qualified professionals. The results of this work provide NRC Senior Management with recommendations for improvements used in strategic planning, performance and risk management. Annual reports

NRC produces an Annual Report that is tabled in Parliament with financial statements that are audited by the Auditor General of Canada.

Audit

NRC conducts audits of its branches, programs and initiatives to evaluate the effectiveness of NRC's risk management, control and governance.

Evaluation

NRC conducts evaluations of its programs and initiatives to assess their relevance, success and cost-effectiveness.

Financial and performance reporting

NRC produces financial reports that include its annual Report on Plans and Priorities (RPP), its annual Departmental Performance Report (DPR) as well as its Quarterly Financial Reports (QFR).
