Volume 1 Number 2
June 23, 1995

From the Editor:

Well, Volume I, Number 1 got out last week with nothing worse than sleep deprivation to show for it. Thanks to everybody who helped Peter and me get our first issue out so quickly after we were hired, and special thanks to McGraw-Hill, our first advertiser, and Judith Saltman, our very first subscriber.

You might have noticed our look has already gone through some evolution; as I said in this space last week, expect continual improvement over these first few months. And again, please let us know how we're doing so far.

As we're now an electronic publication, we'd especially like to hear how you'd like to see us take advantage of the new medium. Sound files? Video clips? What would you like now, and what do you expect to be able to use in six months or a year? And as long as we're being technological, what sort of electronic materials would you most like to see reviewed? CD-ROM reference or story-books, software packages of different kinds, or Internet resources?

We hope to cover everything we can, but let us know what would be most useful to you.
