If you received your NEXUS membership in 2002, it is time to apply for a new card. In order to ensure uninterrupted passage privileges, you should re-apply to the program about three months before your membership expires.
The fee for renewal is a non-refundable processing fee of CAN$50 or US$50, per applicant. Membership for children under the age of 18 must also be renewed but, if eligible, they are admitted to the program free of charge.
Your membership is valid until the expiry date, which is indicated on the back of your NEXUS card. If your membership card does not have an expiry date, please call one of the following Canadian processing centres:
The three NEXUS programs (Air, Highway and Marine) have been combined into one program, now simply called NEXUS. You can use your NEXUS membership whether you travel in the air, land or marine mode.
If you are a NEXUS Air member, you can use your new membership card, which you received in the mail, for the NEXUS land and marine modes.
If you are a NEXUS Highway or Marine member, and would like to use the Air mode, you will need to get your irises photographed for identification purposes. Please make an appointment at one of the enrolment centres.
