Partners in Protection (PIP)
PIP members
PIP members receive the following benefits:
- If they are Customs Self Assessment (CSA) program participants, they are eligible to apply to the FAST program to be able to use designated FAST lanes to cross the border into Canada;
- They can improve their security levels;
- They can access CBSA expertise (the CBSA can assess their security measures, address vulnerabilities and provide awareness sessions);
- They can enhance their reputation by being a secure, low-risk company;
- They can gain a competitive advantage; and
- They contribute to the protection of Canadian society.
PIP associates
PIP associates receive the following benefits:
- They are included in consultations on proposed changes to the PIP program;
- They are advised of any program changes; and
- They receive the PIP newsletter.
