I am pleased to provide you with a final version of the Price Questionnaire and a draft version of the Industrial Benefits Questionnaire. The Price Questionnaire takes into consideration the feedback we received in response to the draft material we sent to you on April 29, 2013.

As you are aware, the purpose of the Price Questionnaire is to obtain information that will help the Government of Canada develop rough order magnitude cost estimates to acquire, sustain, operate and dispose of your respective aircraft. It is guided by the Framework that was developed by KPMG for the Next Generation Fighter Capability program, which was informed by Government of Canada policies and international best practices. I would be grateful if you could send your responses to the Price Questionnaire by July 5, 2013.

The draft Industrial Benefits Questionnaire requests information on your company’s knowledge of, and willingness to comply with, Canada’s Industrial and Regional Benefits Policy as well as the approach your company would take to pursuing industrial benefits in Canada. I would be grateful if you could send your comments on the draft Industrial Benefits Questionnaire by May 29, 2013. We will take the opportunity to discuss your feedback at the briefing on the Pricing and Industrial Benefits Questionnaires scheduled for May 31st. The National Fighter Procurement Secretariat will review your comments on the draft Industrial Benefits Questionnaire and revise the document as appropriate.

Please send your comments and responses to Ms. Rachel Wernick. Any issues related to the potential disclosure of commercially confidential information related to the questionnaires should be brought to Ms. Wernick’s attention at the earliest possible opportunity.
