Real Property-1: Property Management and Project Delivery Services (RP-1)
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has significant experience working with the private sector to deliver real property services to the Government of Canada. In fact, the Department has maintained two Alternative Forms of Delivery (AFD) contracts for over a decade. These contracts are designed to leverage the private sector to build capacity and flexibility for property management, project delivery and optional services.
Building on the success and lessons learned from previous AFD experiences, PWGSC will soon initiate a new solicitation for real property service delivery contracts called Real Property-1: Property Management and Project Delivery Services (RP-1). This initiative allows government employees to focus on managing real property service activities, while maximizing access to private sector expertise and innovation to increase service delivery capacity.
PWGSC will ensure that this solicitation is conducted in a fair, open and transparent manner and will use fairness monitors throughout the procurement process.
